RSPCA Education…inspiring responsible and caring
behaviour towards animals. The RSPCA values the role
that education plays in preventing cruelty to animals
throughout the community and recognises the importance of
teaching children and young adults to care for and respect
the animals in their lives. Welfare education, not only
actively promotes the care and protection of animals in our
society, but also encourages informed opinions about animal
welfare, a sense of social responsibility and active
citizenship in young people.
RSPCA Education endeavours to provide teachers with
resources that are unbiased and accurate. Our educational
resources are intended as tools for educators interested in
helping their students cultivate their own informed opinions
about welfare issues.
