Desexing
Did You Know?
Desexing

Our biggest problem is multiplying!
Every year around 60,000 cats are brought in to the RSPCA. The harsh reality is that we just can't find new homes for all of them so we are forced to euthanase 36,000 cats every year.
Each one of those deaths is a shameful waste and could be avoided if people would just desex their pets.
Did You Know?
Desexing not only saves lives but it benefits your dog or cat:
- they are less likely to wander, run away and get into fights
- they are less likely to spray and mark their territory
- they can live longer, healthier lives
- they are more affectionate, better companions
- they are less likely to suffer from anti-social beahviour
If you adopt a pet from the RSPCA it will already be desexed, wormed, vaccinated and microchipped.
If you have a pet that needs desexing then contact your local RSPCA or vet to find a clinic near you.
