In the absence of proper labeling laws in Australia, the supermarket aisle can be a confusing place. Especially if you're shopping with animal welfare in mind. Terms like grain fed, corn fed and farm fresh often adorn products to imply higher animal welfare but they aren't necessarily so. It's no wonder a quarter of Australians find food labels confusing and a third of us don't trust them at all.
