Gooralie Pork
Gooralie pork is produced in a bred free range environment which results in supreme taste and tenderness. This is achieved through keeping pigs in a stress free environment allowing them to be ‘as happy as’ - resulting in superior quality and taste.
Available in QLD.
The Gooralie story
Gooralie is a mixed farming property situated near Goondiwindi, on Queensland’s fertile Darling Downs. After a lifetime of producing lamb and beef the natural way, we chose to establish a free-range breeding herd to produce pork in a natural, outdoor environment. Gooralie pigs are farmed in accordance with the RSPCA Approved Farming Scheme.
All our pigs are bred Free-Range which means sows have the freedom to truffle, play and wallow in the mud. We do not cut teeth or tails and we do not nose ring our pigs. Once piglets are weaned, they are free to roam and play in straw based shelters, where they have the space and bedding to express their natural behaviour and socialise.
We endeavour to grow our own grain. Our pigs are fed a natural, nutritiously balanced diet free of chemical residue, antibiotics and hormone growth promotants.
