Mt Mercer Pork (Entire range)
Farmed in the cool, temperate grassland plains of Western Victoria, Mt Mercer Pork is proud to be RSPCA Approved - which means farms are assessed under the RSPCA Approved Farming Scheme at least twice per year.
On these farms, sows live outside in paddocks with ample shelter, water and mud wallows which they love.They give birth in insulated huts and their piglets are weaned into special strawbased shelters, also known as eco-shelters.
Piglets in eco-shelters have the space to roam - thick straw is used for bedding - plus they also love to play in it. Teeth and tails are not cut and nose rings are not used.
