Many people who care about animals consider turning their passion into a career, and enquire about coming to work at the RSPCA. While most people are familiar with our shelters and uniformed inspectors, there is actually a wide range of jobs available at the RSPCA.
About volunteering for the RSPCA
Volunteers are an integral part of all levels of RSPCA operations - from National and State Councils to the occasional gardener and everything in between. They assist in many ways including caring for animals in the Shelters, assisting with administrative tasks and helping out in Opportunity Shops. Many more help out with special events, fundraising and promotions that take place throughout the year.
The RSPCA could not function at such a high standard without the vital assistance of its volunteers. If you would like more information about becoming a volunteer please contact your local RSPCA.
