Just in time for the one-year anniversary of the Australian Afternoon Tea challenge, Twinings has announced that not only is the winning blend here to stay, but on-pack contributions for the RSPCA are too.

The blend, which was created by the Hon. Kevin Rudd MP for Twining’s challenge, beat over 40 other celebrities as the top Australian Afternoon Tea blend.

As part of his win, Mr Rudd selected the RSPCA as his choice of charity to be the recipient of 10 cents from every pack sold, which has raised over $120,000 to date for animals across Australia.

“It’s fantastic that Twinings is continuing its support of the RSPCA,” said Mrs Lynne Bradshaw, RSPCA National President.

“With their support and the blend’s popularity, Australia’s animals will continue to be the beneficiaries of Australian Afternoon Tea’s on-pack contributions.

“This partnership will enable the RSPCA to continue its work improving animal welfare in the community.”
