About the Role

The Partnerships Marketing Officer will support and contribute to the implementation of RSPCA Australia’s marketing engagement activities with national partners. The role will work closely with the National Partnerships Manager in assessing partnership opportunities and providing excellent relationship stewardship for RSPCA corporate partners. Facilitates and co-ordinates designated national marketing projects for national partners by managing internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the National Partnerships Manager to ensure strong stewardship of national partners, providing proactive oversight and strategic guidance across all marketing related engagement.
  • Lead the planning, development and delivery of marketing collateral and assets to support national partnership campaigns, ensuring alignment with RSPCA brand guidelines and organisational objectives.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with member Societies to ensure national partnership obligations are executed consistently and to a high standard.
  • Oversee and govern the approval process for the use of the RSPCA brand by corporate partners, sponsors, licensees and or merchandisers, ensuring compliance with brand standards across sponsors, licensees, partners and member Societies.
  • Conduct assessments and contribute to due diligence for prospective partnership opportunities, comprising national sponsorship, workplace giving, licensing and merchandising. Facilitate conversations with member Societies and support contract developments with national partners as needed.
  • Lead the coordination of further fundraising and development opportunities/campaigns as needed, identifying opportunities to enhance national revenue streams.
  • Oversee the delivery of marketing initiatives with national partners and sponsors, ensuring projects are executed effectively and deliver agreed outcomes.
  • Provide regular and timely reporting on performance and status across the national partnerships portfolio.
  • Identify and escalate significant issues or risks relating to national partners or sponsors to the National Partnerships Manager, ensuring early intervention and effective resolution.
  • Liaise with RSPCA member Societies to ensure that corporate partnership obligations are executed effectively and agreed outcomes are delivered.
  • Facilitate information sharing between RSPCA member Societies through scheduled teleconferences and face to face meetings.
  •  Coordinate internal communication to ensure all staff and member Societies are aware of obligations for fundraising/partnership activities.

About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • A tertiary qualification in Marketing/Fundraising is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing corporate supporters and marketing/brand related partnership contracts.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in ICT platforms such as CRMs, Microsoft Office, and project management tools.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a positive, inclusive team environment.
  • Excellent organisational and time management capabilities.
  • Self-motivated, with strong initiative and the ability to work independently when required.
  • Ability to demonstrate prior experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills, including an ability to identify opportunities and make connections that deliver outcomes.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated success in collaboration, building networks, influencing outcomes and negotiating beneficial partnerships.
  •  Alignment with RSPCA values and mission.
